The Columbarium is regularly inspected and maintained to help ensure its long-term preservation and appearance. Its face is granite, it is encased in natural stone, the top is a solid slab of rock, and it sits atop a solid natural stone gravity wall.

Walker Chapel Historic Cemetery has been cared for for more than 150 years, preserving a place of faith, remembrance, and community.
Are flowers and gardens maintained year-round?
Yes. The gardens, trees, shrubs, and lawn are cared for throughout the seasons to maintain a peaceful and welcoming setting. Activities are planned each week starting on Saturday, and you are most welcome to join in!
Can I support the care of the Columbarium and cemetery?
Yes. Donations and volunteer service help support the ongoing stewardship of this historic and sacred place. While part of Walker Chapel, the two are financially separate as the Chapel builds for the future while the Cemetery cares for the past.
